Steelwind quay for heavy load

The client, Steelwind Nordenham – DH Projekt GmbH, plans to create a quay for heavy loads on the left bank of the Weser in Nordenham-Blexen as part of the development of a monopile offshore foundation manufacturing site.
The project “Steelwind quay for heavy loads” comprises:
Quay complex: Construction of a quay complex able to bear heavy loads, with a length of approx. 200 m plus an adjacent side wall
Construction of a mooring dolphin with an access jetty Backfilling of the quay structure, including soil and ground improvement work
Creation of an edge embankment with a revetment
Creation of a reinforced concrete angled retaining wall in the terrain
Creation of the necessary water depth for the mooring berth by dredging

Quay areas:
Creation of the drainage system for the quay area incl. rainwater retention basin
Creation of the paved surface, including heavy duty drain channels
Creation of an empty conduit system
Consortium with Tiefbau GmbH Unterweser and Aug. Prien.
