Reconstruction Berth 9.1 - Cuxhaven

The contract for the conversion of the LP 9.1 in Cuxhaven was awarded by a joint venture from the F+Z Baugesellschaft and Kurt Fredrich Spezialtiefbau GmbH. The execution took place between September 2017 and May 2018.
The structure belongs to the offshore base Cuxhaven in the port Cuxhaven and was rebuilt for the landing of general cargo and the loading of offshore wind power components. The foundation of the quay wall could be optimised within the scope of the subsidiary offer prepared by the technical office and the quotation department of F+Z. In addition to cost savings, this also resulted in advantages in terms of execution risks (obstacles to the construction of subsoil) and significant time savings in the execution of the construction work (with the associated minimisation of winter construction and storm surge risks).

Due to an accelerated acceptance of the execution planning, which was completely carried out in-house, as well as its close coordination with our construction management, the construction could be started as quickly as possible and the construction time could be improved again.
